Christmas Presents....gotta love them. not because you get what you finally wanted, it's because the person that got it for you knows who you are and they love and appreciate you for who you are.

My lady friend, "E" got me an Sean John obama t and some leather chucks to keep my toes warm during the winter ^_^. thanks babe, i <3 u.

mom dukes got me six outfits. 2 aeropostale shirts, an old navy hoodie and some music theme shirts. thanks mama i <3 u

popz got me a jacket and i think a couple other things...i didn't really get a chance to go thru them because i went to my momz afterwards. i'm heading back this weekend to spend some more time with the fam so it's all good, i'll see what i got.

uncle richie and uncle ernie gave me cash. mommom and poppop gave me cash. grandma gave me cash, aunt nita gave me cash....how much you ask? none yo bizness lol. enough to sastisfy my needs.

Just posting this blog to see what's up with everybody's holiday. your's truly has to work on xmas eve....it should be a pretty steady shift, with no major issues...at least that's what i'm hoping for.

i sample this x-mas melody my manz ace da producer sent to me via gmail. it'll be up on my myspace by tonight and i'll keep it up there until next week.

Secluded Sounds and Scriptures is officially an Inspirmentalist Production. it is not a YIam project due to some minor issues with my duo-mate.

i got 95% of my xmas shopping done. now i gotta get my popz and cousin josh something....Giftcards.

um...I didn't have a wish lish for myself, i just brought shirts and kicks just as i pleased. but i know my lady is getting me a new pair of converses...(Mwahz, thank you E)

want to get this but in a smaller format so it'll be the mini with the one mic port

anywho, updates:

wrote a song to this beat i made about a month or so ago called the sky is falling...very real song, kinda depressing but the 3rd verse is meant to bring some uplifting. i'll give ya'll a sample.

1st:
The Rain will because there is pain involved
seems today problems we can't solved
because, there's many issues, drug misuse-murder
somebody get that kid's mother a tissue
because, she lost her son before he was 21
since some street punk had pulled a gun and
aimed it towards son's chest took his life
and he ain't never do wrong, he always did do right
just of a victim of today's society
suspect didn't think about this life of this casualty
didn't think about the consequence
didn't even think about a long ass sentence
seems he was always full of rage
the demons inside his heart started to engage
and pulled his soul towards the depths of hell
while the victim saw the light and started to accel- towards it
i wrote this song this past weekend. i'll put it on a mixtape and an album probably.

i still have yet to perform live honestly. i'm so ready but it seems when i am, something always gets in my way or something is cancelled. there's an open mic in newark but i gotta go to south jersey for thanksgiving...but i'll be eating leftovers!!! due to the fact i gotta work friday. i'll be eating @ my friends crib on thursday so it's all good.

Monday....worst day of the week.

Mondays.....argh..... we all hate them right?


it's the end of a lovely weekend and the beginning of a long week......

i can't complain though, at least i work 2nd shift at my day job and don't have to worry about waking up at the crack of dawn and enduring the morning cold. anywho, my weekend was pretty chill. i was going to perform a song i recorded with my sister from another mister, but i didn't have enough time to prepare and i was fully focused because i work a day job. i went to the talent show and watched a few good performances. it opened up with a poet who was speaking some real ish about how technology plays a big part in our world as far as communication is concerned. no one writes letters anymore. the next one was a beautiful woman who happen to be a dope ass violinist and a great producer. i wish i would have gotten her business card. after that another guy who spoke about the difference between like and love. if you like someone deeply, everything is good. once love hits, shits starts going down the drain. that's why i like women deeply, but love hip-hop music to death. after that, there was this rap duo that was ok, kinda reminded me of a new york version of slum village. now for the bad....w...t...f this one "rapper" was screaming into the mic over his chorus which said "imma air him out"...fail....there were a few other garbage mcs which i won't get into but they know who they are. the one before intermission was dope though, his name is F.A.M.E. he's from jersey city and he's pretty dope. google his name and jersey city, and you'll find his myspace. anywho,i know it'll all be good once me and my partner in rhyme legion hexx start recording our album. Secluded Sounds & Scriptures.....and we putting it out for free so if anyone is reading this, be on the look out for it. Feb. 2009. It's YIam's year baby!

mon thru fri.....3 to 11 day job....day job? Helpdesk Technician....Easy as pie...


after the day job mon and wed...blogtv web show....mood muzik monday and wayback wednesday

weekends....beats...sleep....food...parties...videogames...beats.....bars......blogtv......trips to other cities.....reading....beats....cleaning room and bathroom...pc repair...mixing songs for dance team and making flyers....beats.....

lol i do make beats during the week too but i get more time on the weekend.

"Oh why aren't you sign already?"

because the industry wants to rape me and take control of my soul and i refuse to sell my soul for a dollar.

"Your beats are hot and you give them away?"

only to those i know very well and trust, i don't sell them because most of them contain samples and i don't wanna risk getting sued

"You got some hot beats we should collab"

Thursday is PAYDAY!!!

Everybody in the workforce gotta love thursday or fridays.....

i just got done paying my rent because my check came in....THAT SHIT IS GONE!!!!!

:(....but hey i just gotta invest my money and spend my cash wisely.

there's so many music tools and video games i wanna buy before the year is over.....

if anyone reads this...tell me folks....how do you manage your money and what are some of your bad spending habits?
